. The neighborhood is listed in the National Register of Historic Places with
an architectural style of 'Chicago, Late 19th and 20th Century.

Jane Ball Elementary School undergoes
major renovation.
The Hanover
School Board decided to install a new retro fit metal roof. The 18,000 square foot red metal standing seam
roof was installed over a new frame work of metal bracing. The roof was part
of a $15 million dollar renovation of the elementary school. The project was
completed in six months utilizing seven Korellis roofers and seven Korellis sheet metal
workers. According to David Mankowski construction manager of the Skillman
Corporation, 'installing a new metal roof was one of the most challenging parts of the
project'.

Safety training helps save
lives
A demonstration of wearing and using fall protection gear was recently
conducted outside at the Korellis Roofing facility. Proper selection, fitting
and care of fall protection gear were the main points in this program. All
roofers are required to undergo fall protection training prior to starting work.
Annual updates are offered as well.
