How Structural
     Thermography Works

Infrared Thermography is a valuable tool to provide non-destructive testing on an existing roof system to locate entrapped moisture.  Ironically, Infrared technology does not actually detect moisture rather it detects temperature differential that professionally trained Thermographers use to locate entrapped moisture.  

Leaks in a flat roof can be very difficult to find and can cause extensive damage before being discovered.  Infrared Thermography can be utilized to locate the extent of the wet insulation before it becomes detrimental to the structural roof deck.  Infrared Thermography is also beneficial to assist building owners provide effective facility planning.
